How payouts work here
Connect your own PayPal or Wise and pay nothing to use it
Referly takes 0% of your sales, your affiliate revenue and your commission volume, on every plan, and connecting your own PayPal or Wise adds nothing on top. There is one percentage in the product and it is opt-in: Referly Payouts, the managed rail, which is 5% for bank transfers and 8% for cards. If you would rather not use it, you never touch it.

Automated payout batches are on Business and above. Startup pays out manually, which is the same place Tolt Basic leaves you, and neither charges a percentage for it.

Four things come across in full, two come across partly, and three do not. Tolt Basic caps you at three commission flows, so the rebuild is usually small.

Names, emails, payout emails and status, over the API.

The code survives. The domain it points at changes.

Individual rates arrive as per-affiliate overrides.

With their original dates, and settled commissions already marked paid.

Rebuilt by hand. Tolt Basic allows three, Growth five, so most programs arriving here are recreating a handful rather than dozens.
Partner groups
Referly has affiliate groups with their own default plans and colours, but the grouping itself is set up again rather than imported.
Paid payouts
Sales you import can carry their paid status, so nobody is paid twice. The payout records themselves stay behind.
Unpaid commissions
Import them marked unpaid and pay from Referly, or pay them out of Tolt first.
The historic click log
Not importable from any tool. Click and conversion-rate history starts fresh.
Commission flows do not come across on any migration, from any tool, including this one. On Tolt that is a smaller job than most, because the plan you are on capped you at three or five of them.

Two values: the key, and which program to pull from. Tolt scopes reads to one program at a time.
Check for an automated payout run in flight before you start. Tolt's auto payouts run on their schedule and carry a 2% processing fee; let the cycle finish and settle before the overlap begins.

Tax forms without moving up a plan
Tolt gates W-9 and W-8 collection and 1099 filing to Growth and above, alongside the automated payouts. Referly's tax forms are in-house: it suggests the right form from the affiliate's country and payout type, collects it in their own portal, stores the tax ID encrypted and gates who is allowed to reveal it.
Tax forms and EU-compliant invoicing are on Business and above, not on Startup. Worth checking against the plan you are moving to rather than assuming it comes with the migration.

If it goes wrong
An import you can undo
Every import is a job with a record of what it created. If the mapping was wrong, or you pulled the wrong program, delete the job and tick the box that removes the records it made: the affiliates, referrals, sales, links and clicks from that run and nothing else. Your program goes back to where it was. Nobody else in this category publishes this, and it is the single most useful thing to know before your first import.
- Pause and resume a running import
- Per-record errors, so a bad row is visible rather than silent
- Delete the job with or without the records it created
Last step
Cancelling Tolt
Export a copy of everything before you press it, and check no automated payout is mid-flight. Affiliates, referrals, commissions and payout history as CSV, kept somewhere durable.
Cancel from your Tolt billing settings once the overlap has finished and both dashboards agree on attributed sales.
The payout run is the specific hazard on this migration. Tolt's automated payouts run on their own schedule, so cancelling between the accrual and the payment is how an affiliate ends up chasing you for money that is technically in neither system. Let the cycle land first.
