The meter
Rewardful doesn't charge per affiliate. It charges per dollar they earn you.
Affiliate revenue is the meter, and the first cliff lands at $7,500 a month.
Affiliates are unlimited on every Rewardful plan. The meter is monthly revenue attributed to affiliates, and it has two hard steps: $7,500 and $15,000.
At $7,400/mo you pay $49. At $7,600 you pay $99. That $200 of extra affiliate revenue costs you $50/mo, and nothing about your usage changed. Every vendor in this band prices this way, Referly included. Rewardful's first step is simply earlier than most.

The fees on top
The fees on top
There is one thing to say here and it is short, because Rewardful's answer is good.
0% transaction fee
$0 at any volume
Advertised on every plan and genuinely true: Rewardful takes no percentage of your sales, your affiliate revenue or your commission volume. Credit where it is due: this is parity with Referly, not a difference.

Payment-rail costs you still pay
Varies by rail
PayPal fees, FX spread and bank charges on affiliate payouts are yours regardless of platform. These are not Rewardful's fee and it would be misleading to present them as one, but they belong in any honest total.
Referly's own fees, in the same format: 0% transaction fee on every plan, meaning no cut of sales, affiliate revenue or commission volume. Two optional charges do carry a percentage and neither is a transaction fee: agency client billing at 5% / 2.5% / 1%, only if an agency invoices its clients through Referly, and Referly Payouts at 5% bank/ACH and 8% card, only if you use the managed payout rail.
Plan boundaries
What's included, and what's on a higher plan
Starter is a real plan, not a demo, but four things people expect in it are not.
| Feature | Starts on | |
|---|---|---|
| More than one campaign | Growth ($99) | |
| More than two team members | Growth ($99) | |
| Branded affiliate portal | Growth ($99) | |
| Custom domain | Growth ($99) | |
| Private invite-only campaigns | Growth ($99) | |
| Custom rewards and custom scripts | Growth ($99) | |
| One-click PayPal payouts | Enterprise ($149+) | |
| Chat, email and phone support | Enterprise ($149+) | |
| W-9 / W-8 tax-form collection | Not available on any plan |
Referly gates things too, and on the same basis: automated payouts, EU self-billing invoices, W-9/W-8 collection and the custom portal domain all start on Business at $149. Coupon tracking and link tracking are on every plan, and sub-affiliate tiers are 2 levels, not unlimited.
Is Rewardful worth the money?
Rewardful is good value if
- You're under $7,500/mo in affiliate revenue, where $49 is the cheapest serious option
- You bill entirely through Stripe or Paddle and expect that to stay true
- One campaign and two seats is genuinely enough for how you work
- You want the shortest install in the category, measured at 15 to 20 minutes
It stops being good value when
- You cross $7,500/mo and the bill doubles to $99 with no change in what you get
- You need a branded portal or custom domain, both of which are Growth features
- You add a Shopify or WooCommerce store, which no Rewardful plan can track
- You start paying US affiliates enough that W-9s matter, because no plan collects them
Referly is $75/mo and caps at $10,000/mo in affiliate revenue on Startup, the same shape of plan with a higher first cliff. What differs: it tracks Shopify as well as Stripe, collects W-9 and W-8 forms from the Business plan, includes a marketplace, and charges no per-sale fee on any plan.

Referly is $24/mo less at this size, which is $288 over a year.
Rewardful's plan is chosen by its published caps; Referly's by its own. Neither figure includes payment-rail costs, which you pay either way.
At $10,000/mo in affiliate revenue with 200 affiliates and a 20% commission, Rewardful comes to $99/mo on Growth and Referly to $75/mo on Startup. Drag the sliders to your own numbers.
