The match score
The score is built on what they have sold.
The score leans on revenue a creator has actually generated and how often their clicks convert.
Same creator, different score, depending on what you sell and where your customers are.
Profiles rebuild every night, so a dormant creator stops outranking an active one.
These weights are read directly from the scoring code, not redrawn by hand, so this diagram cannot drift from the number the product shows you.
| Input | Weight | What it measures |
|---|---|---|
| Category match | 25 | How closely the influencer's own categories and the categories they've generated revenue in overlap with your program's categories. |
| Proven revenue | 20 | Total revenue (GMV) this influencer has generated across all affiliate programs on Referly, normalized in USD. |
| Conversion rate | 15 | Their average click-to-sale conversion rate across all programs. 5% or better scores full marks. |
| Audience size | 10 | Total audience across their connected social channels (deduplicated across programs). |
| Geographic fit | 10 | Whether the influencer is based in one of your program's top revenue-generating countries. |
| Verified socials | 10 | Share of their connected social accounts that are verified. |
| Recent activity | 10 | How recently they drove clicks or sales for any program. Active in the last 30 days scores full marks. |
In practice
Four moves that get invitations accepted.
A 22,000 subscriber newsletter in your exact niche will out-earn a 400,000 follower generalist. The earnings column shows you which is which.
Payout method is the most common reason a good invitation goes nowhere.
Audience size is worth 10 points out of 100. Proven revenue and conversion rate together are worth 35.
Put the commission plan and any signing bonus in the invitation itself. Asking a creator to imagine the offer loses them.
